Having a lunch date in the West Village is always good for celebrity sightings and today's didn't disappoint. While having lunch today with my friend Melanie at Cafe Cluny, not only were we seated next to two people I know are "somebodies" (neither of us could actually place them, but I think they are part of the New York glitterati scene), we saw one of the Olsen twins exiting a black SUV and entering the restaurant. I'm not positive it was Ashley, but she looked very pretty and Melanie kept saying it was "the prettier one," so I'll stick with my gut and say I saw Ashley Olsen today.

• I have a new love for the fact that I can pretty much do all my Blogger html by myself (and you know you love those bullet points).
  
• I have a new love for pepper turkey, avocado, and swiss cheese sandwiches. I think I've eaten at least five in the past week alone.
  
• I have a new love for being able to take a hot shower whenever I want to, after watching an Oprah episode about middle class families now homeless because of this recession who all said the thing they missed the most about having a house was taking a shower.

NEW LOVE

Not to get into too much detail, but Katie and I do these things called angel cards that give each month a theme and for this month of March, my theme is "new love." I figured I would try to write every day this month (though this may be hard for the week we're in California at our new house that is internet-free, but we'll see) and give you an appreciation of things I have a new love for.

• I have a new love for ink pens that actually dry as you write.
  
• I have a new love for being able to wear comfy clothes as much as possible, especially now.
  
• I have a new love for super great service at restaurants.
