BATHTIME

I thought Jack enjoyed his first real bath, but the true fan was Adrian, who asked me today how often Jack needed to bathe and proclaimed that he thinks we should do it at least three times a week because it was so much fun. He said he "liked splashing the water on him." I guess this means we'll have one clean baby.

A MILESTONE

I promised myself and Adrian that I wouldn't weigh myself until I met with my doctor next Friday, just to give my body some time to get back to normal. But of course, my curiosity got the best of me and yesterday I pulled out our scale to see what I weighed. And the thing that made my day wasn't my actual weight (which wasn't half bad), but the fact that I could see the numbers on the scale without having to bend over.

Introducing Jack Jia-Wei Liang. Born on Wednesday, November 7; weighing 8 pounds, 9 ounces and measuring 20 1/2 inches long.

THINKING ABOUT 24 HOURS FROM NOW

Scheduled c-section for 9 a.m. tomorrow morning. Crazy!

If only my book club girls knew the real reason I was missing book club on Sunday isn't because it's two days from my due date and hopefully, I'll be on my way to the hospital if not already in the hospital, it's because I have to watch the Colts kick some Patriots ass.
