4 DAYS...
Four days left, and today was quite productive regardless of the fact that we only slept about six hours (which I know in the world of newborns is heaven, so I shouldn't be complaining now). The wedding yesterday was wonderful; great to spend time with old friends, meet some new ones, and celebrate the lovely couple as they start their life together. Plus, the best man speech was one of the best we've ever heard, so much so, that at one point I had to stare at the ground and stop listening so I wouldn't break into the ugly cry. We said our good-byes (with only a few tears) to all our loved ones here in NYC and we all promised to visit (we'll see how that goes), but overall it was a beautiful day. We had today to ourselves - no errands or must-dos, so we spent it packing a bit more, visiting our favorite diner for the last time, visiting Crumbs for the last time, and when the rain finally abated, walking all the way home from 75th to take a good long look at our Upper West Side neighborhood. It's been great to us, and we will definitely miss it...
